Hi, I’m Bill Kapinski, the person behind Kapinski Photography.  Ever since I held my first camera I knew photography was going to be my life’s pursuit.   For over 30 years I have been documenting couples weddings and telling the story of their special day –all the smiles, laughs, tears, as well as the little details and everything in-between that make it memorable.  To me, this is photography with a purpose, something that is cherished for a lifetime and beyond.  

I specialize in documentary wedding photography with a touch of natural portraits.  “I didn’t know you were taking pictures” is one of the best compliments I receive.  I stay as unobtrusive as possible on your day and let it unfold, without direction, capturing the memories.  There will always be some portraits, because let’s face it, Moms.  These pictures I keep to a minimum capturing the poses you want in a relaxed way, so you can have more time with your friends and family.

In my spare time, I enjoy taking pictures for myself.  I have a passion for black & white photography.  I mostly photograph urban landscape – think old buildings or man-made structures, but anything is fair game.  I also enjoy spending time with my wife and our 2 Rough Coat Collies, aka Lassie dogs.  Yes, the brushing never ends and there is a lot of fur, but they are some of the sweetest most gentle dogs around.  A little Lassie trivia.   Timmy never fell in the well, but once Lassie did.
